St. Anthony Hospital 2021 Trauma Symposium -- Sept. 17, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard, Arvada. This full-day symposium will include a keynote presentation, full-spectrum case study, trauma survivor T-10 panel, and three breakout tracks. AWR-232: Mass Fatalities Planning & Response Course -- Sept. 29, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Upper Pine River Fire Protection District, 515 Sower Drive - Training Room Bayfield. AWR 232 is an 8-hour, DHS/FEMA-certified, tuition-free, awareness-level course. The goal of this course is to teach participants the basics of mass fatality response while providing opportunities to exchange rural perceptions and brainstorm solutions to simulated emergencies.
