Children's Hospital Colorado EMS and Outreach Education -- June 11, 9 to 10 a.m.; Virtual lecture. Pediatric Emergency Education Lecture Series (PEELS). This month's lecture titled "Emergent Complications of Medical Technologies in Children with Medical Complexity for Prehospital Providers" will be presented by Dr. Jonathan Higgins of Children's Hospital Colorado. Save the Date!! 2021 Critical Care Transport Professional Course -- June 28- July 2, Laramie Fire Station 3, Laramie Wyoming, 2374 Jefferson Street, Laramie, WY. Thoroughly prepares medical professionals to function as competent members of a critical care team. Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support -- July 9 – July 10, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wray EMS, 304 W 3rd Street, Wray. Cost $125.00. NAEMT's Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for prehospital emergency trauma care. PHTLS courses improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality. PHTLS is appropriate for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians, and other prehospital providers. PHTLS is accredited by CAPCE and recognized by NREMT. This NAEMT Course is the two-day PHTLS course. A book is required and after successful completion of the PHTLS exam, you will receive a PHTLS course completion certificate (16 hours of trauma). St. Anthony Hospital 2021 Trauma Symposium -- Sept. 17, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard, Arvada. This full-day symposium will include a keynote presentation, full-spectrum case study, trauma survivor T-10 panel, and three breakout tracks.
